Speedy repair on pothole that caused fatal accident near Mid Valley

A pothole on Jalan Tengah heading towards Mid Valley has caused the unfortunate death of a motorcyclist on Sunday around 7.30 am.

Preliminary investigations by the Kuala Lumpur Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department (JSPT) showed that the motorcyclist was riding over a pothole when he was thrown off his motorcycle.

JSPT chief Asst Comm Zulkefly Yahya added that the rider, identified as 75-year-old Ho Yan Yee, died at the scene of the accident.

Since the accident yesterday morning, the pothole has already been fixed to prevent any more accidents from happening.
