It appears that the Toyota Corolla Cross will be the next recipient of the GR-Sport treatment, as evident from spyshots from Taiwan.

Up front, the Corolla Cross GR-Sport gets a redesigned front bumper, completely different from the US and Japan-market models. It also gets a new gloss black front grille with honeycomb insert. 

As for the rear-end, the Corolla Cross GR-Sport gets clear-type LED tail lights, a lone GR-Sport emblem on the tailgate, and a more prominent rear diffuser piece. A gloss black roof completes the exterior, at least from these spyshots.

The lone interior shot shows the leather-wrapped seats with white stitching and insert. It remains to be seen if there are other GR Sport additions to the cabin.

The Taiwanese Toyota Corolla Cross gets the choice of two powertrains. The first is a naturally-aspirated 1.8-litre petrol engine (140 PS, 172 Nm), followed by a petrol-electric 1.8-litre hybrid with a combined system output of 122 PS. 

According to sources, Toyota Taiwan will debut the 2021 Toyota Corolla Cross GR-Sport later tonight, so stay tuned for that.
