Some sources have mentioned that the new Boyue X could replace the regular Boyue, or could be placed between Boyue and upper rung Boyue Pro.

In China, the regular Boyue is fitted with the same 1.8-litre mill like the X70, while the Boyue Pro adds a turbocharged 1.5-litre engine to the mix.
