Saga finally gets keyless entry?
There could be new wheels as well
Can this convince you over the Bezza?
With the most recent spotting of the new 2022 Proton Saga, it certainly seems like Proton is addressing one key feature currently missing on the affordable sedan: keyless entry.
This spyshot, courtesy of our friends over at Funtasticko, provides a clearer view at the upcoming Saga’s driver side, with the keyless entry button fitted to the driver side door handle. We can also expect the new sedan to get an engine push start button as well.
If the upcoming 2022 Proton Saga does get keyless entry, it will almost certainly put the A-segment sedan toe-to-toe against the Perodua Bezza, at least in terms of feature set.
Elsewhere, other changes to the new Proton sedan include the new circular Proton logo, new body kit, revised wheels, as well as black finishing on the side mirror covers.
Under the bonnet, it should be business as usual – a naturally-aspirated 1,332-cc petrol engine should remain unchanged. That said, some sources have claimed that the Malaysian-spec 2022 Proton Saga could receive the Pakistani-spec’s 34-cc smaller engine.
