The upcoming 2022 Honda Civic, known as the FE-generation Civic, has been spotted in China. Like the leaked photos earlier, it appears to be in production form.
Exterior wise, the production version largely mirrors the prototype showcased a few months ago, albeit with a lightly-restyled front bumper and wheels.
Powertrain options are likely to be carried-over units depending on region. The most prominent option globally would be the 1.5-litre turbocharged engine paired to a CVT. It makes 173 PS/220 Nm in the outgoing Honda Civic FC but it remains to be seen if Honda has made any updates to the powerplant.
In Malaysia, the all-new 2022 Honda Civic FE is not expected here until late-2021 or early-2022 despite being spotted in Thailand. This is due to the longer lead time required for local assembly.
The quest for automotive knowledge began as soon as the earliest memories. Various sources information, even questionable ones, have been explored including video games, television, magazines, or even internet forums. Still stuck in that rabbit hole.
