Sunway Smart Parking system

Sunway is further paving the path in innovative parking lots with the preview of their new Smart Parking system within Sunway City.

Sunway has always been in the lead when it comes to making their parking lots more accessible. The company was one of the first to adopt the lighting indication system a few years ago.

Now the new integrated license plate recognition system will see Sunway City’s parking lot go entirely cashless and ticket-less.

Sunway group introduces Sunway Smart Parking System

This is a massive step towards reducing the parking lot’s carbon footprint for all its visitors starting with the shoppers at Sunway Pyramid mall.

All you need to do is register your car plate through the Sunway Parking portal and attach your account to a participating e-wallet to make payment.

The smart parking system is attached to multiple e-wallets to make sure that all avenues are covered including GrabPay, Boost, WeChat Pay, Alipay, Touch N’ Go Digital and even Maybank QR. That’s almost all e-wallets available in Malaysia!

For those who have not subscribed to any e-wallets, Sunway has also made sure that they are not left out as the company has also partnered up with credit card providers like MasterCard, Visa, American Express, JCB, UnionPay and MyDebit.

Currently, the system is still in its preview stages and only online for season parkers. The full system is expected to roll out to the rest of the public in Q1 2020.

Sunway is now holding a pre-registration period, shoppers who register now will get a chance to enjoy a one-time free parking once the smart parking system is open to public.
