Online shopping platforms have become the go-to place for people to get all sorts of things from groceries to the latest threads. Seeing growth in online shopping in Thailand, MG Thailand is collaborating with Shopee to sell its models via Shopee Live.

Though carmakers have collaborated with e-commerce platforms to sell exclusive cars online, few have set up an online store on these platforms to sell their models.

In commemoration of Shopee Thailand's 9.9 Super Shopping Day, MG will be the first carmaker to organize sales activities via Shopee Live. The broadcast is expected to go live on 16-September 2021 at 11 am (Bangkok time).

The sales won’t be limited to exclusive, limited-edition models though. Instead, most of MG’s entire Thailand line-up will be available to purchase by buyers. This includes the recently launched MG 5, the MG HS PHEV, MG HS, and MG ZS.

MG Thailand and Shopee have been working very closely through the year and Shopee Live has been very popular in the Kingdom. In the first half of 2021, the live shopping programme has received 400 million views.
