If you’re a fan of the Jaguar F-Pace, you’ll be glad to know the sleeker, facelift is now available here as Jaguar Land Rover Malaysia introduced it. A fortnight after the updated XF was launched here, the refreshed F-Pace arrives in a sole variant; the 2.0L R-Dynamic It’ll be priced from RM598,800 that is inclusive of the 10% sales and service tax (SST).
The F-Pace adopts the current design language such as the “double J” DRL light signature within the noticeably slimmer LED headlights that’s now making its way into recently updated Jaguar models. Between the headlights, the grille gets a new diamond mesh pattern that’s now flusher with the outer trim.

Over at the rear, the taillights received the same treatment. They’re now slimmer as well, resembling the pieces from the I-Pace.
Inside though are more significant updates with an entirely new dashboard that’s definitely more modern-looking with angular cues. Something that’s probably quite welcomed would be the gear selector now being a short lever instead of the previous rotary dial.
However, the drive modes (Comfort, Eco, Rain-Ice-Snow and Dynamic) are still selected via a smaller dial on the centre console. Drivers can also select their preferred characteristics for the engine mapping, shift points and steering weightage via Configurable Dynamics; or in layman’s terms the individual drive mode.
As for the infotainment, it’s via an 11.4-inch curved-glass touchscreen for the Pivi Pro system that’s wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay capable. There’s a wireless charging pad as well. Below the display sits the new controls for the dual-zone climate control that features integrated displays for the temperature and air flow.
Buyers will also get the usual mix of advanced driver assistance systems such as autonomous emergency braking, lane keep assist, driver monitoring and more. Cruise control is standard too.

To reduce cabin noise intrusion, there’s Active Road Noise Cancellation. The feature generates opposing phase sound waves to reduce exterior noises that intrude into the cabin.
Lastly, motivation is courtesy of the Ingenium 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder. It makes a healthy 250 PS and 365 Nm of torque, available to all four wheels via the ZF 8-speed automatic.
