In conjunction with the opening of Lamborghini Kuala Lumpur’s new showroom, the Lamborghini Aventador LP 780-4 Ultimae was unveiled in Malaysia. 

This latest version of the Aventador is a celebration of the iconic V12 supercar and combustion engine in a final production model. And this will be Lamborghini’s last naturally-aspirated combustion engine model, as future models will have some level of electrification.

The Aventador Ultimae is essentially a plusher version of the hardcore Aventador SVJ, a middle child between the Aventador S and Aventador SVJ.

The 6.5-litre naturally aspirated V12 mill puts out 780 PS/720 Nm, which is 10 PS more than the SVJ and 40 PS more than the Aventador S. With all-wheel drive, 0-100 km/h takes just 2.8 seconds and top speed is 355 km/h.

The Aventador Ultimae does without the huge rear wing seen in the Aventador SVJ, but takes on the rear diffuser. The front bumper is said to be unique to the Ultimae that includes a front splitter. 

Inside, it gets ‘comfort’ seats from the Aventador S and lots of Alcantara.

Only 350 coupes and 250 roadsters of the Aventador Ultimae will be made globally, and each carries the 001 of 350/250 plaque to remind owners they are in a limited-edition car. 

The Aventador Ultimae coupe carries a base price tag of RM 1.888 million while the roadster goes for RM 1.988 million, before taxes and options.

But even if you do have around RM 2 million to spare, we were told that 5 units of the Aventador Ultimae coupes are allocated for Malaysia, to which all of them are spoken for and no roadsters are headed our way.

Well, at least we can head to Lamborghini Kuala Lumpur’s new showroom to admire the Aventador Ultimae, that is until next week when it moves on to another region to make its debut.
