The Mustang that isn't a pony car - 2023 Ford Mustang Mach-E EV with 351 PS and 580 Nm priced from RM 370k

Fancy a Ford Mustang without the hefty fuel costs? Enter the Ford Mustang Mach-E, an electric (EV) SUV that adopts the iconic Mustang name and design elements.

Despite being a Ford, the Ford Mustang Mach-E is not imported via official channels; instead, the Mustang Mach-E is imported (CBU) from the UK as a reconditioned unit.

This particular unit is priced from RM 368,000 and is currently on sale by MPV King, a recond car dealer located on Old Klang Road.  

Being the Mustang Mach-E Premium Extended Range AWD variant, it packs a 98.7-kWh Lithium-ion battery pack that powers two electric motors.

Total system output is 351 PS and 580 Nm, and the Mustang Mach-E Premium Extended Range AWD can travel up to 548 km under the WLTP test cycle.

Charging is handled by a CCS Type 2 port located on the front left side of the vehicle. DC fast charging takes 45minutes to charge from 10 percent state-of-charge (SoC) to 80 percent SoC. The Mustang Mach-E can also do regular AC charging, up to 11 kW. It takes 9 hours and 45 minutes to fully charge the Mustang Mach-E via AC charging.

Standard equipment on this Mustang Mach-E includes a 10.2-inch digital driver instrument cluster, portrait-style 15.5-inch infotainment display, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, automatic dual-zone climate control, Qi wireless charging, B&O sound system, and a panoramic glass roof.

As with the case of any recond car purchase, keep in mind that it is still a used car. Onus is on the buyer to watch out for tampered mileage, accident or flood-damaged units that are no longer road-worthy in the UK.
