Perodua claims 5% lower fuel consumption with this new D-CVT, and official fuel consumption figures are 22.2 km/litre (4.5 l/100km) for the 1.3-litre engine and 21.1 km/litre (4.7 l/100km) for the 1.5-litre.
This is despite more expedient century sprint times of 11.5 seconds and 10.2 seconds for the 1.3-litre and 1.5-litre powerplants, which is 20% quicker than the pre-facelift model.
