The Suzuki Waku Spo concept is a 4-door shooting brake convertible

As confusing as the title sounds, it really is a coupe with four doors and is able to transform itself into a wagon. Suzuki says that the Waku Spo will be enjoyed by families among three generations, combining the driving fun of a coupe and the practicality of a wagon.

The interior is also able to change its appearance in a Bentley-like fashion. In standard mode, a simple wood grain design displays only the necessary information. Switching to sport mode will turn the wood grain into a large monitor on the instrument panel.

It has tiny rear doors to allow easier access to the rear seats like the Mazda RX-8, but this uses a sliding mechanism rather than suicide doors. When it transforms into a wagon, the rear seat slides backward and automatically reclines to allow more interior space.

The Waku Spo is a relatively small car, measuring at 3,700 mm in length, 1,650 mm wide and stands at 1,430 mm tall. For comparison’s sake, a Perodua Axia is 3,640 mm long, 1,620 mm wide and 1,510 mm tall.
