There’s a recall for the rear turn signal on the Toyota Harrier 01

The affected vehicles are equipped with rear turn signal lamps that use LED bulbs of a specific generation from a specific supplier. On these vehicles, the turn signals using these LEDs are mounted in a specific location such that it’s possible water may contact the heat sink located behind the circuit board in the light assembly and lead to rapid cooling of said board.

If this happens, condensation may form on the circuit board that may cause some of the electrically conductive materials, such as solder, to dissolve and be redeposited on the circuit board when the condensation dries.

“Better late than never.” Some despise it, others begrudgingly agree with it but he swears by it… much to the chagrin of everyone around him. That unfortunately stems from all of his project cars not running most of the time, which in turn is testament to his questionable decision-making skills in life. A culmination of many wrongs fortunately making a right; much like his project cars on the rare occasions they run, he’s still trying to figure out if another project car is the way to go.
