Following the viral video of a 9-year-old boy driving around a Proton Saga, yet another video of a child expertly driving has been going viral across WhatsApp groups. The video shows a 12-year-old boy expertly parking a massive tanker!
The video is believed to have been shot in Rantau, Seremban. Seremban police Assistant Commissioner Mohd Said Ibrahim said that the police will be taking action and are currently searching for the parents of the boy to conduct a full investigation.
Mohd Said told Sinar Harian that a police report has already been made regarding the viral video due to the parents’ negligence for allowing an underage child to drive not just a vehicle, but a massive Hino tanker at that.
The case will be investigated under Section 31(1)(a) of the Child Act 2001. If convicted, the parent will face imprisonment of up to 10 years, a RM 20,000 fine, or both.
