Aston Martin Kuala Lumpur is no stranger to one-off customised special edition models. They’ve blessed us with the DBS Superleggera Pentland Green, a DBX Intrepid Aura, a DBX Arden Green and even given a nod to Batman with a Vantage Dark Knight edition. Now, they’re on the prowl for some prey with the Vantage Hunter Edition.

The hue itself is called China Grey and the theme plays around exterior options inspired by the vibes of a hunter. It’s the first Vantage in Malaysia in that colour. The front grille, bonnet vents, mirror caps, roof panel, window surrounds, rear diffuser insert and blades get a darker finish that is inspired by stealth. Following with the trend of the Vantage F1 Edition and other special edition models, it gets the vaned front grille.

It rides on massive 21-inch wheels in satin black wrapped in Pirelli rubbers that do little to hide the massive red brake calipers behind them.

The interior is decked generously in Onyx Black and Chancellor Red leather with redesigned paddle shifters to complement the “jewellery package” finish.

If you want to stand out with the Vantage Hunter Edition, you’ll have to fork out at least RM 880,000 (excluding duties and taxes) with a 5-year warranty.

“Better late than never.” Some despise it, others begrudgingly agree with it but he swears by it… much to the chagrin of everyone around him. That unfortunately stems from all of his project cars not running most of the time, which in turn is testament to his questionable decision-making skills in life.
