Just as the name suggests, buyers looking to purchase a Carsome Certified car would only have to pay RM 88 for the first three monthly instalments while Carsome covers the remainder.

The instalment promo also includes insurance and an Extended Warranty Plan (EWP) upgrade fee should the buyer choose to include them during the purchase.

Let’s use this 2016 Honda Civic 1.5 TC-P as an example. The price is listed at RM 93,500 and the monthly repayment is RM 1,025 a month under a 9-year loan tenure. This figure is based on a 3.5% interest rate.

Under the BIG 88 Deal, the buyer of the Civic will only need to pay RM 88 for the first three months while Carsome covers the remaining RM 937 monthly. After that, from the 4th month onwards, the buyer would have to pay the full instalment every month.

Additionally, if the buyer adds on the insurance and EWP upgrade (assuming buyer pays RM 2,000 more), they will apply a loan of RM 95,500. Should they apply a 90% loan with a 4% interest rate, the loan amount is RM 86,000. The monthly instalment for a 9-year tenure is RM 1,083/month.

During the first 3 months, Carsome will subsidise the remainder of the loan including the additional premiums while the buyer only pays RM 88/month. That's nearly RM 3k in savings!
