In positioning themselves as a ‘pioneer’ of EV mobility in Thailand, MG is taking a major step to ensure its customers will have neccesary charging ecosystem to keep their EVs moving.

MG recently announced a major collaboration with state-owned petroleum company, Bangchak Corporation, that will see MG Super Charge (DC fast charging terminals) installed at various Bangchak service stations around Thailand.

Taking advantage Bangchak's service station network and the Thai government's new EV policies - MG's DC fast-chargers will be deployed in various locations in Bangkok, Nonthaburi and Samut Prakan.

Mr. Zhang Haibo, President of SAIC Motor and MG Sales (Thailand) added, “Efficient and comprehensive charging stations will enhance the popularity of electric vehicles even more. Consequently, MG has invested in the installation of DC Chargers under the name of “MG Super Charge” which is now ready to be of service in over 120 locations across the country.”

MG SuperCharge will see up to 120 DC fast-chargers deployed across Thailand

Of the total 120 charge points, 50 will be located in Bangkok, Nonthaburi and Samut Prakan.

Thirteen are already operational with five more in the final stages of their trial runs.

MG EP is equipped with a 50.3 kWh battery that delivers a driving range of up to 380 km

The collaboration between MG and Bangchak positively shows how private corporations can come together to take advantage Governmental policies and promote the use of electric vehicles.
