Toyota's museum restores an R32 Nissan Skyline GT-R

If you love cars and is planning a trip to Japan, you should pay a visit to Toyota’s MegaWeb store in the Odaiba district of Tokyo. It’s a sprawling multi-storey brand experience centre.

There’s also a heritage collection section where expert Toyota ‘Takumis’ (expert craftsmen) restores various classic cars, including non-Toyota models.

Part of the MegaWeb store is to promote the love for cars and appreciation for car culture, and the gregarious Toyota is generous enough to spend some resources in restoring history-making classics made by other car companies.

Also spotted in the ‘restoration pit’ workshop are an ultra-rare Toyota Corona Coupe 1600 GT, as well as a BMW Isetta.
