UMW Toyota Motor (UMWT) has just revealed the SST-discounted price of the Toyota Corolla Cross 1.8V in Malaysia, and it starts from RM 129,266.

This comes after the government recently announced the extension of the sales and service tax exemption/discount for passenger vehicles to 31-December 2021, an additional six months from its original ending date of 30-June 2021.

To recap, this 1.8V is the model's range-topping variant here, with the other being the 1.8G. Prices for the 1.8G variant starts from RM 124,000. Previously, there was no SST-discounted price for the 1.8V because it will only be launched after 30-June 2021, past the origianl SST exemption period.

Meanwhile, SST-inclusive prices for the 1.8G and 1.8V are RM 128k and RM 134k, respectively.

Besides equipment differences, both variants of the Corolla Cross offered in Malaysia are based on the same Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA-C) platform, and are powered by the 2ZR-FE, 1.8-litre naturally-aspirated mill - rated for 139 PS and 172 Nm. Power is sent to the front wheels via a CVT.
