The Toyota RAV4 has been awarded the highest rating in JNCAP’s assessment in preventive safety performance, plus a full five stars in collision safety performance (ASV+++).
Similar to the Alphard and Vellfire that scored well in the test, the RAV4 is equipped with the latest Toyota Safety Sense―a pre-collision safety system that detects pedestrians at night.
As for Malaysia, the RAV4 launch has been delayed, but time will tell whether the units brought in by UMW Toyota Motor will come with these safety features as standard.
