“Even the most iconic works of art are born from a simple sketch. It’s only when the art takes form that it begins to possess the power to cross all boundaries.”
Crossing boundaries is of course, a clear reference to the Toyota Corolla Cross.
The USA launch of the Toyota Corolla Cross will be livestreamed on 2-June 2021, 10.30am EDT.
Currently, the C-segment Toyota Corolla Cross leads the compact / sub-compact SUV segment in Thailand, outselling the B-segment Honda HR-V (difference in segmentation is semantics, has little meaning to buyers shopping at this price point) as well as the C-segment Subaru XV many times over.

In Malaysia, the first allocation of 750 units imported from Thailand – originally meant to be a stop-gap measure while Toyota’s Bukit Raja plant is being setup to locally-assemble (CKD) the model – were sold out in less than 1 week.
The Corolla Cross will also be launched in China and Japan in the second half of this year.
