UWM Toyota sold 9,280 cars in April 2021; Sales led by Toyota Corolla Cross and Toyota Harrier

April was a good month for UMW Toyota (UMWT) as they reported new vehicle sales of 9,280 units for Toyota and Lexus.

UMWT attributes the positive result to the timely introduction of new models as well as the Sales and Service Tax (SST) incentive implemented by the government.

Leading the sales are UMWT’s latest models, namely the Toyota Corolla Cross and Toyota Harrier. Sales for the Corolla Cross was so good that UMWT sold out all its imported (CBU) units in less than a week!

Other than that, President Ravindran K. also highlighted that the success is due to UMWT’s continuous efforts to improve its sales and after-sales service networks.

The introduction of more innovative and attractive offers to reward Toyota owners also contributed to the achievement.

New service centres

In light of the new achievement, UMWT also took the opportunity to announce the opening of a 2S centre in Cheras (PDC Automobile), as well as 2 new 3S centres in Johor Bahru (Mutiara Motorsports) and Kemaman, Terengganu (HLT Temerloh).

Raya celebration deals

In conjunction with the upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations, UMWT is offering the Countless Rewards promotion where customers can enjoy more SST savings on both locally-assembled (CKD) and CBU models until 30 June 2021.

There is also the EZ Beli financing scheme where new car buyers can opt for lower instalments depending on the model of choice.

Existing owners will not be left out. UMWT is running the Toyota Service Savers campaign that offers lower maintenance cost for owners when they service their cars at authorised Toyota service centres.
