Back in March, we bought a brand-new 2021 Perodua Ativa. After three months and roughly 6,000 km on the odometer, here’s a brief run-down of what we think of our Ativa.

Here’s what my fellow colleague, Adrian, has to say about the Ativa.

Right off the bat, Adrian noted that he likes the Ativa’s build quality, the ride and handling, the responsive powertrain, and its ADAS suite.

But all’s not perfect, as Adrian pointed out that braking performance could’ve been better. The Ativa’s fuel consumption is also average at best. The lack of Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, as well as the poor window tints were also some of Adrian’s gripes with our Ativa.

We also have planned out some mods to make the Ativa feel better, but this will only come after our disassembly plan. Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, the timeline has yet to be confirmed.
