Video: Geely Group celebrates its 35th anniversary with a walk down memory lane

Can you believe it? The Geely Group is now 35 years old! The company has come a long way from producing refrigerator parts to selling 2.1 million cars in a single year. But did you know that Geely founder Eric Li first started his career in a photography studio?

In this anniversary special video, Geely documents its founder’s journey that led him to start the mega car manufacturer that it is today.

The video also shares the brand’s many pitfalls and milestones like Geely’s 20 percent stake purchase in the manufacturers of the London taxi and how the company became first to produce a high-performance engine in China.
