Things like real-world fuel consumption (does it really do 18.9 km/litre per the NEDC?), and how fast it completes the 0-100 km/h sprint test (can it outfox the Myvi?) are questions we have the answers to, but you'll have to watch the video for that.

To recap, the 2022 Perodua Alza (D27A) is the Rawang outfit's latest launch. Underpinned by the Daihatsu New Global Architecture (DNGA) platform and fitted with all manner of gizmos (full ADAS, Android Auto/Apple CarPlay are headliners) it's proving to be a massively popular people carrier.

Prices for the massively-popular 7-seater range from RM 62,500 (1.5 X) to RM 68,500 (1.5 H), before topping off at RM 75,500 (1.5 AV). It's value proposition at its best, little wonder then why it's been flying off showrooms faster than you can say its name in full...
