Enthusiast cars are getting rarer by the day, especially in Malaysia. We used to see a variety of brand-new hot/warm hatches being offered such as the Ford Fiesta ST or even the Suzuki Swift Sport. Now though, they are all but extinct.

Out of the box, the Swift Sport is already known to punch above its weight. In the twisties, it keeps up with cars way above its class, even if the 1.6-litre naturally aspirated engine makes only 136 PS and 160 Nm of torque.
But what happens when you tweak it lightly? Well, Jason is no stranger to this car, as his brother drives a lightly modified unit. So, he’s gathered both of our cars to find out what the Suzuki Swift Sport is all about.
The quest for automotive knowledge began as soon as the earliest memories. Various sources information, even questionable ones, have been explored including video games, television, magazines, or even internet forums. Still stuck in that rabbit hole.
