Malaysians' hype for the Proton X50 started even way before its launch, and even with upstarts like the Perodua Ativa coming into the fold, interest in the model still holds strong.
Which probably explains why it was a cinch to collect nearly 30 cars for a gathering, organised by the Proton X50 Senior Kakis group.

It was a good, laid-back afternoon at MyTown Cheras with the owners as they shared their ownership experience with us, and we enjoyed seeing how no two X50s were the same.
But...what do they think about the Perodua Ativa? Does it hold a candle to the X50? Does it make them regret their purchase? Do they want one?
