Vin Diesel’s favourite FF car is not the Dodge Charger. No joke

You would think that after 9 movies and 20 years in cinemas, Vin Diesel’s favourite car from the Fast & Furious series would keep changing. But that’s not the case as Diesel recently revealed that his favourite car is one from the first instalment. And it’s not the iconic Dodge Charger.

YouTuber Supercar Blondie recently caught up with the Fast and Furious franchise star amid Fast 9 promotions to ask him about his favourite car from the movies.

Diesel answered that his favourite is still the 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS he drove during the post-credits scene of the first movie. He explained that while the Charger has sentimental value to him, the Chevelle still held a special place in his heart.

But what is more surprising is that despite the advancement in automotive technology, Diesel still stuck to classics like the Chevelle and the Charger although he did lament that he should have picked the Lykan when Fast 7 ended.

And yes, it has been confirmed by Vin Diesel himself that he doesn’t own a Lykan despite rumours on the internet.

In case you’re wondering where did the Chevelle appear in The Fast and the Furious, it was in the post-credit scene where Diesel was cruised his way to Mexico. Don’t worry, not many knew that there was a post-credit scene in Fast 1 either.
