We've long established that electric cars are the way forward, although there are always naysayers. Well, the naysayers won't like watching this: A Kia EV6 GT electric car going toe to toe with some of the world's fastest supercars. 

Watch as Kia's latest and greatest battle it out in a drag race against renowned performance cars like the Lamborghini Urus, Ferrari California T, McLaren 570S, Porsche 911 and Mercedes AMG GT. Fast cars in their own right.

To recap, the Kia EV6 has a 229 PS electric motor strapped on each of the axles, to produce a combined 585 PS, and 740 Nm. 0-100 km/h is dusted in 3.5 seconds. On a full charge, the EV6 GT has a range of 510 kms. 800V ultra-fast charging enables the battery to go from 10 to 80 percent in just 18 minutes.
