Woman makes harassment report over Nilofa milk 'joke'; Policeman denies

The Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) will be investigating a woman’s Twitter allegations that she was sexually harassed by a police officer at a Putrajaya roadblock.
Putrajaya district chief, ACP Mohd Fadzil Ali said in a statement that authorities have received 2 police reports from the victim and the officer involved in the case respectively.
According to the statement, the police officer involved first made a police report to deny the claim on the victim’s Twitter post.
In the Twitter post, the victim stated when she explained that she was heading to Putrajaya to deliver Nilofa milk products, and a police officer named Logan asked if she had milked it herself.
On the same day, the 28-year-old victim also made a police report stating the officer's improper comments during the roadblock about the milk products she was selling.

Early investigations revealed that the police officer has denied all actions alleged on the victim’s Twitter post and her police statement.
Mohd Fadzil added that members from the Malaysian Armed Forces (ATM) on duty at the same location were also questioned about the incident and have also denied the harassment actions the victim has claimed.
PDRM will launch a full investigation regarding the incident. Once completed, the papers will be submitted to the Attorney General's Chambers for further action.
The case will be investigated under Section 108 (2) of the Criminal Procedure Code.
For the time being, PDRM requests the public not to make any speculations that would affect the police’s investigation on the matter.
