The Malaysian Institute of Road Safety Research (MIROS) has introduced three new safety guidelines for battery electric vehicles (BEVs) aimed at enhancing the efficiency of EV safety management in Malaysia. Transport Minister Anthony Loke announced the guidelines, which include the Road User and Public Safety Guidelines for EV Incident Management (MyEVIM), the EV High-Voltage Assessment Protocol, and EV Crash Test Lab Safety Guidelines, at MIROS's PC3 crash test facility in Melaka earlier today.
