Number 5: Mushvenom. This guy’s dope. He’s one of the newest rappers of Korea currently. He debuted in 2019, with, ‘Why is it so loud in here’, which actually gained a lot of popularity. He also appeared in one of the League of Legends ads. Oh, and he won 2nd place in SMTM9 Number 4: Dok2. Just stunning. This guy’s gone downhill now, as he was caught doing some tax evasion in Korea, but until 2017, he was at the top. As co-founder of ILLIONAIRE RECORDS, he was one of the producers for SMTM3, 5 & 6. He’s also famous for his car collection, which includes: A Rolls-Royce Ghost V-Spec A Benz G63 A BMW i8 A Maybach S600 A Bentley Continental GT (Now owned by The Quiett) A Ferrari 488 GTB A Lamborghini Murcielago A Bentley Mulsanne A Cadillac Escalade A Range Rover Evoque A Benz CLS 350 (sold) A BMW i3(he got this one for free) A Benz C class (When he debuted, and he sold it years ago) And now, he’s in the U.S, working away with Tyga to shine again. The truth is, he is actually rapper Madclown under a pink mask and some disguise. It is now clear that he IS Madclown, thanks to all the ‘foolish’ mistakes by the people near him. But when he was ‘reborn’ in autumn of 2018, he was a totally new star. His song ‘Sonyeon Jump’ remains as a landmark in Korean rap history. Number 1: Bewhy. Legendary. Founder of DejaVu Bewhy is currently one of the most respected rappers in Korea. Unlike other rappers in Korea who brag about their success, he raps about church and religion, mostly, and it became clear when he released ‘Garasadae’. These five are my most favorite raps in Korea now.
