1 of 2 Bodykits I designed for the BMW Z4 in @needforspeed Heat, this one was inspired by the 3.0 csl hommage and was a total bitch to model. You can see this kit if you downloaded the NFS Studio App! I think I have a thing for split wings xD. https://t.co/QaiKoh5TYv

I have had a BMW Z4 E85 3.0, and I currently own a Z4 E89,... the two cars are both fun but in a different ways, however, I digress, the E85 with the 3.0 is a blast, it is reliable, fast and fun. Lots of nice options and features, lots of trunk room whether the top is up or down, good MPG too. I would say an E85 is a lot of car for the money. The 2003-2005 cars made more horsepower and torque than the 2006-2008 cars, except thesi variant and the M. I would say stay away from the 2.5, it is nice but you will wish you'd bought the 3.0 and the MPG on the 2.5 and the 3.0 are comparable so I see no point at all in the 2.5.
Depends on the buyer. Typically buyers of expesive, high performance prestige cars are not interested in the standard concept of a “good buy,” like finding eggs on sale at the grocery. So. If you like humdrum family sedans and the spaciousness of a minivan, the 2020 BMW Z4 would be an idiotic purchase. If you like a great looking, almost-racecar, roadster adrenaine machine, then yeah, take it for a test drive and don’t scare the shit out of the salesman. IMO, the 3.0 liter dual stage turbo will be overpowered. My 2015 with 28i four cyclinder has lots of power, even at high altitude. Depends on what you like. Happy motoring!
Honestly you should stay as far away from every old European Luxury Car line for one simple and valid reason. Repair cost. Parts and service for those cars are very expensive and when something breaks (and it will) you’re gonna be stuck with a broken down car that isn’t worth the cost of repair.
E85 BMW Z4 The 2.5 and 3.0 aren't super quick, but they're relatively light and fun. If power is important you could get the M version which has the same motor (S54) as the M3. They can safely carry a child & child seat and have a switch to disable the passenger airbag for when you've got the child seat installed for added safety.
I’ve got a shocker for you. The Toyota Supra is simply a BMW Z4 with a hard top. “It's not a secret that the latest generation of the Toyota ,Supra, is highly based on the ,BMW Z4,. In fact, the two cars are so alike that they both have similar interior, similar infotainment system, and yes, they both use the same ,BMW, B58 3.0-liter straight-six engine.” Now the Supra base price is: MSRP $49,990 The BMW Z4 base price is: MSRP $64,695 The Supra has gone DOWN in price from it’s ,FRATERNAL ,twin the BMW Z4 But the Supra has gone UP in performance from the BMW Z4. The Toyota Supra Vs BMW Z4 Drag Race We've All Been Waiting For 12 sec Supra’s vs 12.5 sec BMW’s Go Figure.
My old BMW Z4 3.0 E85, I think I sold it with 160K miles on it. According to the new owner he is at nearly 200K miles. So why lead to its long live, proper maintenance and it build quality. Why did I sell it, because I wanted an BMW E89. If E89 had not been build I'd have kept my E85. Out of all my cars the E85 drove like a go cart and was a fun little car. Oh and it was cheap, 50K or something like that new.
The Boxster would give the best performance, and either of the used options would depreciate less than the new Mazda, but I would personally go with the Miata. Though slower, it will probably put the most smiles on your face, and be lower maintenance over the long run.
Absolute precision. Fast, precise, and damn near silent. No car matches BMW for overall Driving Experience. Some sports cars will be brutally fast but also hard riding. I have two BMWs, one at either end of the spectrum. I have a 750i, which shares the underpinnings of some Rolls-Royce models. It has a huge powerful V8 and lots of room and luxury inside but still accelerates and handles just a tick slower than a sports car. My sports car is a Z4 3.0 SI Roadster. This car is what Miatas want to be when they grow up. Faster, more precise, yet more refined. You pay a small premium for this, both when you first buy them, and then the ongoing maintenance is more expensive. For example oil changes cost about $100, including a filter and 8 liters of synthetic motor oil. A far cry from your $20 oil change of a Purolator filter and 4 quarts of Pennzoil. But all of this beauty, precision, and speed carries a small premium. I have decided that it is worth it. My long-term running costs are probably 20% higher than a comparable American vehicle. There really aren't any comprable Japanese vehicles but the running costs would be about 30% higher than them.
