@StitchThePomFl @Tallguy2436 @JLHerms I’ve always liked the Rav 4. I like the smaller Ford mini suv. Escape?

@davidkenno @m4rtinjones @Jon4Lakers @ElectrekCo Those cars above aren't the same but made to look same. Same colour, and same length, width and height when its clearly not in reality. In the comparison a mercedes SUV is the same size as a ford mini SUV?! And ofcourse the tesla is made larger and of a different color
I showed one of my friends one ford edge 2007 on instagram and he told me he would like to get it for his wife, i asked my mum about ford cars in Nigeria today and she said it’s a no go area cause of scarce parts and mechanics no wonder it’s that cheap for a mini suv (1.9M) lol
Ford's mini SUV revealed in India: The Brazilian lead makes sense because a compact SUV also called EcoSport bas... http://t.co/eoKUfL0K
I would rather prefer the base model of ecosport..reason is simple..base model comes with all power windows..central locking..abs..ebd..two air bags..rear parking sensor..like every item is available and that too at the cost of 9.40 lakhs on road..whoa..i purchased this mini suv one month back n i am too happy to explain..this car is awesome..why would i spend 1 lakh more just for the touch screen when my iphone is already having a touch screen along with map..rear parking sensor is as good as rear parking camera..i drive at the speed of 90-100 kmph so 2 air bags are sufficient for me..and i got a mini suv just at the price of swift dezire..though my suv is new but i am getting around 18-20 kmpl right now in city..pick up n all doesn't let u feel that u r driving a diesel engine.. For creta..if u have black money and don't know what to do with that then only purchase creta..
IMHO.. Ford Ecosport Will be a wiser choice Though Nexon is a wonderful car with good security, awesome European features & good pricing, however the pathetic After Sales Service of Tata Will result in the car becoming a pain after a couple of years. Negotiating Tata Service Centres is Like Negotiating a Labyrinth of Govt Offices.. Ecosport on the other hand.. It may look dated, offer slightly less features (Variant to Variant) & may not give you the best Mileage.. But it is still a benchmark in mini SUVs.. It’s handling, drivability, agility & connect with the road is par excellence.. It’s safety is also good & Service Support has improved tremendously over the years So Ecosport is a more practical choice
Creta, is the best compact SUV among below 4 cars as its looks are amazing , milege and maintanence cost is fine as well as body parts are easily available in the market but I heard ,KIA Seltos, has sold maximum unit in last few months and but it's public review after using it is still awaited. But we cannot ignore ,Ford ecosport, as well since it fulfills all middle class people demands who wants to buy SUV but due to financial crisis settle down with mini or compact SUV. I personally favor Ford cars as it is having good milege, less maintenance , parts are easily available in the market. However, ,MG Hector, yet to prove himself in the market as competition is too strong in this range of cars as per initial studies it is but cosylier then previous vehcile, having less milege, more maintenance cost, parts are not easily available and now Chinese brand name is also concern so may be it takes a while to wash it's chinese brand. I am ranking all of them in below manner. #1. Hyundai Creta ranges between 9.99 -17.2 lac with 16.80 -21.40 kmpl and 1490cc engine. #2. Kia Seltos ranges between 9.89 - 17.87 lac with 16.80 -21.40 kmpl and 1490cc engine. #2. Ford Ecosport ranges between 8.04 - 11.67 lac with 14.70 - 21.70 kmpl and 1490 cc engine. #4. MG Hector ranges between 12.74- 17.44 Lac with 13.96 to 17.40 kmpl and 1450cc engine. Note, : These specifications only belongs to petrol cars and may not be exactly matching but they are close.
IMHO.. Ford Ecosport is a better choice Though Venue has its strengths namely a modern & classy interior, More features, Stellar Fit & Finish, Awesome After Sales Service & Better Resale Value than Ford Ecosport.. However the biggest con of Venue are its lacklustre engines.. The engines that do duty on smaller cars like i10 & i20 have been fitted in the bigger Venue & hence they are grossly underpowered.. Even the turbo engine has turbo lag at lower RPMs.. So that’s the biggest drawback of Venue.. Ecosport on the other hand.. It may look older, offer slightly less features (Variant to Variant) & may not provide the best Mileage.. But it is still a benchmark in mini SUVs.. It’s handling, drivability, agility & connect with the road is par excellence.. And its engines - Both Petrol & Diesel are refined & powerful & beat the Venue by miles.. It’s safety is also good & Service Support has improved tremendously over the years So For a Middle Aged Guy on a Budget (One who cant get a Creta) Venue may be an option.. Because of its Fit & Finish, Service & Resale Value But for the love of cars & driving ?? Go Get the Ecosport
thank for the A2A. the chronological order is hatch back, sedan, MPV and SUV. the hatchback is a basic car totally practical and it estimated that among the total car population on the planet the hatchback dominates at about 70%. so in practical terms a practical car which can seat 4 adults in comfort, easy to commute, has a smaller engine, small boot is a hatchback. next coming to the sedan. it is basically a traditional car which seems an extension of the hatchback with somewhat bigger boot. the car market keeps on growing at a slow pace in the sedan segment because this segment is not as profitable to the industry as a sedan owner is a matured car buyer and his/her demands and expectations are higher as compared to a hatchback buyer who does not expect anything but affordability, practicality and economy. sedans are the status symbols of an individual. hatchbacks and sedans are the life blood of car racers around the world be it WRC, 24 hour le mans, japanese drifting, london boy racing, american drag racing etc., coming to the MPV segment. its the most boring segment of the domain as vehicles in this category are look more like refrigerators on wheels. they are boxy, seat 6–7 people, boot space is nil, have a mid-range engine and are really boring to drive. coming to my favourite segment i.e., SUV. the SUVs are the latest fad among us Indians but not the real SUVs which go about in deserts, forests, mountains and face any obstacle thrown in by mother nature. what we prefer are mini suvs which are comparatively small, handle like hatchbacks, do a little bit of off-roading. so every car company is getting its mini suv into the Indian market. first in its category were our own indigenously made mahindra vehicles like scorpio and bolero which best suited for the indian roads and will always be a rage. Tata also made a good SUV called the safari which is a hit and a real SUV. then came in foreign players like the reanult with duster, ford with ecosport, hyundai with creta, maruti suzuki with vitara brezza & s-cross etc., coming to the real definition of SUV. the vehicle which can do real off-roading, has huge engine, can seat 6–7 people, can overcome any obstacle, can reach places where the above 3 segments cannot is an SUV. now coming to the last part of your question “luxury cars”. it is a general category which consists of all the above four segments. the segments which serves high net worth individuals with comparatively high-end numbers in engine capacity, torque, horse power, comfort etc., overall they add high value to the money spent on them. there are luxury hatchbacks. luxury sedans range from basic skoda superb to the most most luxurious rolls royce and bentley luxury SUVs range from basic audi Q3, merc GLA to the high end like the porsche cayanne and range rover to the kombat XV
i think among all the mini SUVs you should not go for any. i recommend you go for renault duster because it is not a mini SUV like others. duster is a proper SUV with all wheel drive and a stance and look of an SUV. others are just enlarged hatchbacks in my opinion or we can say soft-roaders.
In mini SUV : Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza is the best SUV under 13 lakhs. It actually looks like a compact SUV. With Brezza you’ll also get unmatched reliability and widest service network all over India. You may also consider Ford Eco Sports as an another option. It gives you pleasure of driving as it’s ride and handeling quality is best in it’s class. Check for 2017 All new Eco Sports which is technically more advance…. In Crossover : Nothing else than Maruti Suzuki S Cross
In hatchbacks : Hyundai i 20 In sedans : Maruti Ciaz In mini SUVs : Ford ecosport In MPVs :Honda Mobilio Take your pick!
The mini SUV trend has just started in fact. With the Ford with EcoSport, the Maruti Suzuki with Brezza, Tata with Nexon the mini SUV have just begun to rise. Each company trying their level best to make a compact SUV and mini SUV the growth is sure to stay for a couple of years.
