perodua franchise Q&A Review

What would you tell someone who is considering moving to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia?

Here are some of the positive reasons why someone should consider to move Malaysia; Yet, Malaysia is a developing country but the greater Kuala Lumpur is already developed. Quality accommodation is very affordable/cheap compared to almost any other developed country. You’ll be able to find hundreds of thousands apartments (condominiums) which are of the highest quality around the globe, but the least you’d have to spend for. Infrastructure of Malaysia is one of the best in Asia. Quality of highways are no different from that of Singapore, Japan, Hong Kong, Germany, the UK, the USA, etc. Top quality education & health facilities are available. Racism is not observed. A Muslim majority country, but secular and all faiths are respected. Citizens enjoy a democratic administration/govt where it’s elected by the vote of people. Rules of law are respected and the justice system is independent. Household items, food, petrol/gas, public transportation; all at top quality & cheap compared to most developed nations. Similar to Virgin Atlantic, Air Asia of Malaysia is the leading budget airliner in the region and provides a good service. Naturally a beautiful country with plenty of forested lands, hills, mountains, etc and is a very green country. Vehicles (cars in particular) are cheap, also accident-free, second-hand or used-cars (just like-new) are really cheap and there’s a lot of varieties and it’s easily available throughout the country to rent/buy. Perodua and Proton are 2 companies manufacturing cars, both are Malaysian companies. Cars are not manufactured in every developed country (except for foreign brands). Electronics, mobile phones, computers, etc are cheap and the highest in quality. Plaza Lowyat is the largest shopping mall in the region for mobile phones & computers. Located at the center of South East Asia, the country is well connect globally. Water is very clean and extremely cheap. A family of 5 persons would pay USD 4/- per month on average for water bill. One of the best countries in the world for shopping. When you talk about buying quality products which are mostly of western origins, you’d always pay less in Malaysia than any other developed country; exactly the same product of the same company would be generally cheaper at Malaysian market (eg.1- a t-shirt of Marks & Spencer which cost at Singapore would cost around half of that in Malaysia, in terms of USD. eg.2- In terms of USD, you’d pay 1.99 for a BigMac of McDonald’s in Malaysia, while you’d be asked to pay 5.50 in the USA, 6.59 in Switzerland, 4.30 in Australia, 3.94 in the UK, 3.86 in S.Korea, 3.47 in Japan and 2.48 in Hong Kong). One Utama is one of the largest shopping mall in the world. Mid Valley, Time Square, Pavilion, KLCC, Publika, etc are similar huge and good quality shopping malls. Huge shopping malls are everywhere. Stores similar to a Walmart, like AEON, Giant, Tesco, Mydin, Parkson, EconSave, etc are in hundreds. Will be able to reach a beach/sea by one hour driving from almost anywhere in the country. For Muslims; there are thousands of mosques to pray. Almost every commercial or residential building, petrol station, shopping mall, government office building, etc would have a specific area/room for praying (male/female both separately) along with an area for ablution. Internet is provided for all locations and the quality/speed/cost is probably the best one can get anywhere. Services for mobile phones are provided at its best quality and it’s very cheap. Maintains a very moderate foreign policy; foreign relation with the West, Arab World, China, USA, Russia, India, etc are very good. Globally a very safe country. Safety is always the top priority. Crimes are very less. Terrorism is not observed. There are almost 1,000 well equipped police stations for the entire population of around 30 million residents. Emergency/Fire services are well equipped and provides the best services of that kind. Food is cheap. Almost all globally renowned franchises are available. Street food is available at every corner, meanwhile fine dining provides a very good quality of food and all varieties are reachable. I repeat about the awesome accommodation you’d get. Eg. the very high quality apartments at luxury condominiums at Singapore (where you get all services like gym, swimming pool, sauna, parks, outdoor exercising, jacuzzi, play grounds, car parks, 3 tier security systems for 24h, grocery store, tennis court, futsal court, etc etc etc) for which you’d have to pay around USD 4,000/- per monthly rental, would be available for USD 500/- to 800/- per month as rent for exactly the same thing. Honestly, your balcony’s view would be mostly green and much better in Malaysia, consider that a bonus). I must have forgotten so many positive things which you’d likely find once moved to Malaysia. Added on 11th October 2019 (Friday)👇🏽 I’m adding one more for those who could be interested in cost of information technology related products; Following are the cost of an Apple Inc.’s iPad (in US Dollars) at different cities in the world, during 2013:- Buenos Aires 1,094.11 Sydney 506.66 Brussels 618.34 Rio de Janeiro 791.40 Ottawa 557.18 Beijing 602.52 Paris 688.49 Berlin 618.34 Hong Kong 501.52 New Delhi 512.61 Tokyo 501.56 Mexico City 591.62 Moscow 596.08 Singapore 525.98 Johannesburg 559.38 Seoul 576.20 Taipei 538.34 Bangkok 530.73 Abu Dhabi 544.32 London 638.81 New York City 546.91 Kuala Lumpur 473.77 ,(the cheapest,,, anywhere in the world)
