Which car should I buy for family purpose around 10 lakhs?

Do you want only car or SUV kind off thingy is also fine. If you have elderly people I suggest a car as getting into an SUV can be difficult, also around 10L there are very limited choices for SUV (sort of) vehicles, for example Ford EcoSport or Honda Mobilio. In cars in Indian market at that price range there are 4 good options, Volkswagen Vento, Skoda Rapid, Honda City and Hyundai Verna. For a lesser price not so great interiors we have our ever green Swift Dzire. Now which car to choose depends on the fuel and variant you want. For petrol I would suggest Vento 1.6 comfortline and for diesel I would suggest Skoda Rapid (Verna is also a very good option) but they are beyond the 10L budget. So in diesel our not so premium feel Swift Dzire is a good option. Also remember Maruti Suzuki vehicles have a very good resale value in India but as I said, not so good or comfortable, your family may not be so happy. Petrol or diesel depends on your daily usage and also in petrol automatic transmission will be available with a little over your budget. I suggest first test drive all these vehicles then take a decision. Vento feels very solid on the road even at high speed, really good.

What is the estimated price of the Volkswagen Vento 2014 Comfortline model having made 70,000 kms?

You have not mentioned the fuel, transmission & city. Assuming it is diesel and manual transmission, it may fetch you between 3.5–4.5L if maintained well and not requiring any major repairs. In Mumbai it may fetch lesser price

What are the differences between Volkswagen Vento and Ameo DSG? Is it worth buying Vento DSG over Ameo DSG seeing the cost difference of both?

I own VW Ameo 7 speed DSG comforline plus. I have been using it for past 3 months. Intially i took test ride in Vento DSG itself, to get a feel of DSG and TDI engine. Vento, Ameo, Rapid all 3 have same diesel engine and same gear box. And front dash and till B pillar most of Ameo is similar to Vento. But the parts for Vento are from Bosch or from VW EU. Incase of Ameo its made from TVS motors. Ameo comfortline plus is approx 9lakh + ex showroom and 10lakh + for highline plus DSG and only lags rear legroom space. And boot is 315Lts and its tall boot. Both build quality is good. Performance of Ameo DSG scores better than Rapid or Vento DSG. Even mikeage of Ameo DSG is higher in Ameo due to less weight. Its smart move from VW for India. The price of Vento and Ameo comparing only DSG model is close to 4lakh +. Ameo DSG option only in diesel trend and in Vento both petrol and diesel gets DSG options. Both cars are confidence inspiring on highways. Both Vento and Ameo have same size tyres and same quality interiors, and great drivability. Vento gets larger boot and good rear legroom. If you are looking for self driving car and rear seat for kids and occasionally elders then Ameo DSG makes sense. It saves a lot. If you plan to sit back seat most of time and the car driven by chauffeur then Vento makes sense but why DSG if driven by chauffeur?. It has one feature to move front non driver seat from rear with a lever itself to have more space. Vento C pillar looks proportional and makes side profile very premium. But Ameo also looks good especially Carbon steel color or blue one. Servicing cost of Ameo is lesser than Vento. Vento gets more color choices and new one gets DRLs too. All these will add more cost to vehicle.

Is it a good option to buy a 4-year-old, 75k KM driven Volkswagen Vento in 6.5 lakhs?

6.5L is a steep price for a 75k driven vento. Try for anything between 5.75-6.25L depending upon variant (petrol /diesel) and model comfortline tredline etc

I want to buy a used Volkswagen car (vento comfortline diesel) which run 16000 km and 2012 make. From outside and inside no damage found. No accident record. Is it worth to buy?

I will never prefer to buy a second hand car or any vehicle almost it runs only 10000 km or no demage found. If u want comlete peace of mind aftet purchasing a vehicle u should always opt a new one. A second hand vehicle always cause trouble and need money and time which will disturbed ur time and financial schedule. Yes it is true that a new one car cost high and will affect on your pocket but in my advise u should wait till u can afford a new car.

How sane is it to buy a Volkswagen Polo Comfortline petrol 1.2 in India considering the competition?

Polo is best car available in segment but 1.2 naturally aspired engine dosent seem great. Better go for 1.2 tsi vento treadline. It have turbocharged petrol and really capable as same as vento tdi. Ps: whatever engine u gone but but go onlu for vw or skoda. You will fall in love of these cars.
