Ford motors have done good and well in recent past with Promotions like cost effective spare parts, service charges and a better customer relationship with a catchy line “Ford, kuch alag si, family wali feeling”, Every thing is true till here, but when it comes to withstanding market and reaching to masses, network availability even in tier 1 and tier 2 cities has to improve a lot. Availability of parts are limited only to service centres is still a draw back. Limited models of choice and missing of fancy features which we Indians are fond of. Even wagon r stingray long back had projector headlamps. Drls. Sedan segement and mid size suv segment needs to introduce new models. Premium hatch back is even required. If taken care of all said, there can be a good futue for Ford in india.
Hrithik Roshan; Baahubali (2015, 2017) Rajamouli initially planned to make the record-breaking "Baahubali" in Hindi and dub it into various regional languages. And at this phase, he contacted Hrithik Roshan to play the titular role of Baahubali. But the actor expressed a lack of interest and the film got made in Telugu with Prabhas playing the lead role Dilip Kumar: Lawrence of Arabia (1962) The tragedy king of Bollywood had the chance to be featured in the 1962 epic historical drama film. "Lawrence of Arabia" was nominated in 10 categories at the Oscars that year and ultimately went on to win seven of them. However, for unknown reasons, Dilip Kumar said no to the role of Sherif Ali; he was the tenth actor to do so. The role fell in the lap of Middle Eastern superstar Omar Sharif. Katrina Kaif: 'Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-leela' (2013), 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani' (2013) and Chennai Express (2013) Deepika Padukone was one of the undeniable hit-makers of 2013, and she must thank Katrina Kaif for it. Katrina turned down not one or two, but three blockbusters that went to Deepika in the same year. Shah Rukh Khan: 'Munna Bhai M.B.B.S.' (2003), '3 Idiots' (2009) and 'Lagaan' (2001) All the three movies turned down by Shah Rukh went on to become some of the most prominent and noted films of Indian cinema. While "Munna Bhai M.B.B.S." revived Sanjay Dutt's career, "3 Idiots" went on to become one of the biggest box-office hits and “Lagaan” was India’s entry to the Oscars that year. Aishwarya Rai: 'Raja Hindustani' (1996) Filmmaker Dharmesh Darshan first considered Aishwarya Rai for the lead role in "Raja Hindustani". However, the actress turned it down as she was not sure about the script. The role catapulted Karisma Kapoor into superstardom. Aamir Khan: 'Darr' (1993) Believe it or not, the super hit film was first offered to Aamir Khan who said no to the character of an obsessed lover. Shah Rukh Khan, on the other hand, grabbed the role, which is regarded as one of his best performances to date. Salman Khan: 'Chak De! India' (2007) and 'Baazigar' (1993) Yes, Salman Khan was the first choice for Shah Rukh Khan's hit films - "Chak De! India" and "Baazigar". Shatrughan Sinha: 'Sholay' (1975) Can you possibly imagine anyone other than Amitabh Bachchan play Jai in "Sholay"? Filmmaker Ramesh Sippy was keen on casting Shatrughan Sinha for the role, but Dharmendra put in a good word for Big B and the rest is history. Kareena Kapoor Khan: Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam (1999) and more Kareena Kapoor Khan turned down films like "Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam", "Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-leela", "Kal Ho Na Ho", "Fashion", "Black", "Chennai Express" and "Queen". Saif Ali Khan: 'Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge' (1995) Bollywood got its ultimate romantic hero Shah Rukh Khan, when Saif Ali Khan turned down the role of Raj Malhotra in "Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge". Twinkle Khanna: 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai' (1998) Karan Johar has admitted that he wrote his 1998 romantic drama "Kuch Kuch Hota Hai" with Twinkle Khanna in mind for the role of Tina. After the role was turned down by Twinkle Khanna, Karisma Kapoor and Raveena Tandon, it went to Rani Mukherjee who won the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in the film Juhi Chawla: 'Dil To Pagal Hai' (1997) In an interview, Juhi Chawla, who refused films like "Raja Hindustani", "Dil Toh Pagal Hai" and "Judaai", said, “It is all in the past, so it is okay to talk about it and you learnt from it. I think most of them were two heroine projects, so I did not do it. I am responsible for Karisma Kapoor’s stardom and she doesn’t know about it.” Raj Kapoor: 'Anand' (1971) Rajesh Khanna was not the first actor that Hrishikesh Mukherjee pursued for the role of Anand Saigal in "Anand". Raj Kapoor was considered for the role in the 1971 film. Jack Nicholson: The Godfather (1972) Al Pacino, who portrayed Michael Corleone in the iconic film "The Godfather", was interestingly not the original choice for the role. Director Francis Ford Coppola earlier offered the role to Jack Nicholson who turned it down. Will Smith: The Matrix series (1999-2003) The role of Neo in the sci-fi action hit "The Matrix" was turned down by actor Will Smith before Keanu Reeves accepted the part. Hugh Jackman: Casino Royale (2006) Riding on the success of "Wolverine" and "X Men", Hugh Jackman claimed that he didn’t want to play another iconic character such as James Bond. Daniel Craig was later cast to play the MI6 agent. thankyou for reading, image and info source - google

My best Experience with Ola: ,Ola Sab Kuch Dekta Hai……, (Ola sees everything….) I was shopping with my cousin at Phoenix Market City Bangalore Whitefield. It was late and we were searching for an auto. No auto was ready to return till our house, so we had no other option but to book a cab. I booked a Mini and as about to book another when I noticed the car which was being sent. Any Guesses? It was not an Indica, not a Nano but a Ford Ecosport! That to at the cost of a mini! None of my family members knew what was I trying to say( They did not know what is Ecosport) but when they saw what came, they too were shocked! It was a total surprise from Ola
The most irritating ad that I see nowadays on Indian Television is the one of Ford. In English it sounds quite alright when they say “Feels like a family for change”, however in Hindi it just looses the plot when it says “Kuch alag se Family wali feeling”, god knows what does that even mean! Then there are the usual ones Airtel Cadbury’s Five Star Harpic - somehow they always manage to show up during dinner Fair and Lovely Idea - thankfully they have stopped the IIN advert but with the recent 4G, I am worries (literally) what will they now come up with. Is creativity really that scarce? Cheers
This was an Uber ride in Mumbai from Lower Parel to Andheri. I had a long discussion with this Uber driver who was driving Uber for more than 6 months. We have discussed about the fleet management, how he gets the ride requests, how much rides he completes everyday and a lot more. We also talked about Ola. Then we started comparing the two companies. As everyone knows Uber is way ahead in customer service and somehow I asked him will Uber acquire Ola in years to come. What he replied is a catch..a very obvious thing which you may forget because of all your MBA and marketing Gyan you get in b school. ...Sir, market chalane ke liye do players chahiye. Ek to kuch na kar payega kabhie. Translation,: (Market to exist needs two players. One cannot achieve the goals) It's a fact. Look at the examples: Sugar soda- Coca Cola vs Pepsi Burgers - McDonald's vs Burger King Pizza- Dominos vs Pizza Hut Cars - Ford vs GM Shoes : Nike vs Reebok Gates vs Jobs Airbus vs Boeing HP vs IBM P&G vs Unileverand the list goes on...
According to me you can take internship and job in the top companis like ,BMW , FORD ,HONDA, TATA.... ,and some famous names....Surely they will give you high salary . But, it is not easy to get intern and job in the companies like this. You must do hardwork ( ,Ya why not Smart work ha ha ..) You must have a good knowladge in your field . I know it is not easy if you are not in IIT or NIT but your dream is big so you have to do it.. according to me do this ..... 1) Maintain your CGPA above 8.5 2) Get a good hand on ,Catia, Autocad, Ansys, Matlab... 3)Get a good hand in programming language like ,C++ ,or ,C, Java ( ,ya ya I know ",log kahte h ki mechanical m kuch kaam nahi aata " ) . Learn it ,go through it ..what you will se Mordern Robotics is completely based on it as well as any good software you will use most probably uses the codes of C++ and Java .. ( ,such h yaar Nit Warangal m humko toh yeh first year m hi pada diya h ) 4) Participate in workshops like Arduino, Robotics...and other events it will provide you a better experience ( ,And jab certificate milega toh resume bhi faadu ban jaayega na......) Don't worry if your collage does not organise the events join events in IIT and NIT....you will learn a lot ( ,or is bahane hi sahi ghumna bhi ho jaayega or ghar wale rokenge bhi nahi ..., ha ha ) And finally I wanna say that your collage name affects your carear but bro if you will do whatever I have mentioned ,toh samajh le bhai tu race m h or jo race m run karta h wahi race ko pura kar sakta h
