Some Kaiser locations will offer a bonus pay if the surgeon can squeeze in an extra joint replacement or perform a few more other common surgeries. But the majority of the income is salary based. This prevents perverse incentivisation to perform surgeries for the sake of billing alone but it’s still not perfect.
Joes Canoes can be written as 4x+20 and Callie’s Canoes as 14x. x is the variable per hour. Set them equal to each other 14x=4x+20 Subtract 4x from both sides 14x-4x=4x+20–4x 10x=20 Then you get x by it’s self by dividing both sides by 10 10x/10=20/10 x=2, at 2 hours is when they both charge the same 14(2)=4(2)+20 28=28

If you didn't include the destination address and/or the return address, then the package will go to the Dead Letter Department. The Post Office now uses automated sorters to read the address on the package. The tracking number is just used to track the package at each stop along the way to its destination. You can try to call the Post Office listed on the label of the collection box you deposited the package, or you can go there, and check if they still have it. Sometimes they will wait a couple days to see if someone claims the package before the send it to the Dead Letter Department.
We live in an age where anyone and everyone has all the world’s collective knowledge at their fingertips. This has led to mistrust of experts - experts are people, and can be wrong. When that expert says something incorrect, human nature is to lose trust in that person and believe themselves more knowledgeable. We falsely believe, these days, that our opinions are valuable without having to earn those opinions on specific subject matter. (I see this all the time when talking about nuclear power; people will argue with me when they don’t understand that radiation and radioactivity are different concepts, let alone any reactor safety concepts). Flat Earthers and Anti-Vaxxers are a part of a new Anti-Science movement. People who falsely give their opinions weight without having studied scientific method or any associated processes, and have not studied in Logic. As such, things like assumptions and correlation are over-used in their arguments. “I can’t see the curvature of the Earth, so it doesn’t exist,” versus a scientific analysis of “At my present altitude, how much curvature should I see, and is my brain capable of visually measuring that curvature?” I don’t even have a good reason why anti-vaxxers believe what they do. There is no evidence there. Like, seriously, nothing that hasn’t been made up. There’s no logic to the argument, other than that as it presently stands in America, some companies are not required to go through regulatory measures that would prevent them from putting out a bad vaccine, but even then you would be arguing against ,individual, vaccines, not vaccines as a whole. The argument is actually incredibly similar for GMOs. What you wind up with is people who can speak eloquently, but say nothing valuable. Because it sounds pretty, and makes the individual feel superior through newfound knowledge and the ability to blame someone (“The Government,” as if it was some hive-minded entity) to shrug off their problems on), they believe it. These people pretend to answer questions, and give the person; the Anti-Vaxxer, Anti-GMO, or Flat-Earther the ability to argue without having to think critically for themselves. They just spoonfeed out the information and these anti-science, anti-expert folks just eat it up. I’ve yet to meet a Flat Earther who can conduct an experiment intelligibly. You present them with something ,easy, and they refuse. This is why I prefer Quora to Facebook. You can visibly see who is credible in a field and who is not. If I argue on Facebook, I might get a dozen people arguing against me, and in a day I still work with the subject matter more than they have in their collective lives, and the volume of uniformed argument is falsely weighted more than mine informed one Whereas on Quora, for example, you could have me, a nuclear operator, argue against, say, an accountant, over the subject of nuclear reactors. My credentials being attached gives my argument the appropriate amount of weight.
