In conjunction with the Superbowl games, Universal Studios also took the opportunity to launch yet another F9 trailer. Well, we know most of the deeds by now, the Toretto clan might be living the peaceful life but being adrenaline junkies that they are, they’re expectedly bored. Someone just paid RM 300K for a Honda Civic EK9 Type R!

The Honda Civic EK9 Type R will be turning 25. That means this JDM legend from the nineties is turning into a classic soon – yeah, we are feeling old. We’ve seen news of Toyota A80 Supras and Honda Integra DC2 Type Rs going for six figures at auctions in America. However, since the EK9 is still below the 25-year import rule, that means we won’t be seeing wild prices for them. Until now. Millennials say car culture is for old people, who is to be blamed?

If you are reading this, it is safe to assume that you have some level of interest in cars. What about cars that made you interested in them? When and how did you started liking cars? For me, it was when a silver E24 BMW M635CSi pulled up next to my dad’s Proton Saga. I was 5 years old but I still vividly remembered everything. The second time was when my dad was driving on the then new North South Highway. I was sleeping when my dad yelled at me to wake up, telling me to look at the Porsche com

MINI JCW Countryman on track - 306 PS vs 231 PS, you wouldn't believe the difference

A little more than a week ago, MINI organized a track event at Sepang Circuit. All John Cooper Works (JCW) models were lined up, from the 3-door Hatch to the Countryman, which I was in the pilot seat for the evening. It was actually the first time I’ve ever driven on the track. Having my track cherry popped in a MINI isn’t too shabby I suppose. Being a first timer, I went all the way to the back of the line and into the 306 PS MINI JCW Countryman. 2 reasons for this – so that I won’t hold up any

How did Tun M’s Proton Perdana ended up gathering dust in the UK?

During the long weekend, as Malaysians were celebrating the 63rd Merdeka Day, we were greeted by a couple of YouTube videos that showed a Proton Perdana gathering dust in an underground car park in the UK. This raised quite a bit of furore around the Malaysian interwebs but what exactly is going on and how did Tun M’s car get there? Save up to RM 50k on a recond car or go for Certified Pre-Owned car?

When it comes to shopping for a car, terms like reconditioned cars and certified pre-owned (CPO) cars get tossed around a fair bit. On paper, both CPO and reconditioned (recond) cars are very similar – both are cheaper than a new car, allowing the buyer to save some money. But that’s where the similarities end, as they are world’s apart once you look closer. Recond cars – good on paper, but buyers beware While it may seem tempting to save RM 40k to RM 50k on a recond car versus a brand-new car,

Running in your new car, still relevant?

Running in (or breaking in) your new car is a standard practice that has been recommended by car manufacturers for the longest time. The task is simple – drive the car until the designated mileage set for the first service (anything from 1,000-2,000 km), but do not exceed 3,000-4,000 rpm to let all the mechanical bits ‘set in’. However, automotive technology have advanced tremendously in the automotive world, with manufacturers utilizing better quality materials for the mechanical bits, all in t
