Almost all Perodua cars sold out for 2020, sales target of 210,000 units achievable

2020 has been a roller coaster ride for car sales with the biggest dip taking place in April. Even Perodua, the manufacturer of ubiquitous econoboxes took a plunge with only 57 units sold back then. Proton’s 2020 sales reached 109,716 cars, 8.8 percent up, still behind Perodua

Proton announced today that it ended 2020 with a total sales of 109,716 cars sold. Despite losing over two months’ worth of sales due to MCO, sales were up 8.8 percent from 2019. Honda owners take note: Here’s a list of Honda service centres that are reopening starting today

Honda Malaysia has announced today that it has received approval from the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI), and other required approvals to resume after-sales services at selected service centres. Proton X50 sets record for highest monthly sales for any SUV in history – 3,345 units

Even as we enter into 2021, it seems that the hype of the Proton X50 has not yet died down with Proton announcing 3,345 units of the B-segment SUV sold in February.
