Hyundai to build Ioniq EV plant in Singapore

Following the launch of the EV-only Ioniq brand, we now have news on that Hyundai plans to build a plant dedicated to producing electric vehicles (EV) under the brand in Singapore. According to the Straits Times, Hyundai is expecting to start construction of the Ioniq plant in Singapore by October 2020. Singapore banks push for EVs, property developers to install EV charging points

Following Tesla’s return to Singapore, two banks have shown great initiative in the adoption of electric vehicles. The Business Times reports, that on Monday, OCBC had announced a strategic partnership with Charge+, a Singaporean EV solutions firm.
