Perodua Myvi driver who drove against traffic in Penang arrested

The Perodua Myvi driver who drove against traffic from the Penang bridge toll plaza towards the North-South Expressway has turned himself in to the Bukit Mertajam traffic police station. MCO in KL, Selangor, Johor, and Penang extended to 4 March 2021

The ongoing Movement Control Order (MCO) will be extended in Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Johor, and Penang until 4 March 2021. Conditional MCO (CMCO) will be reinstated in all states including the federal territories of Putrajaya and Labuan. Meanwhile, the Recovery MCO (RMCO) will be reinstated in Perlis. 先前,马来西亚国际贸易及工业部(MITI)发布了一份可以在行动管制令(MCO)实施期间运营的行业名单,其中包含了修车厂和汽车工厂。不过,就在几天前,MITI又公布了一份名单,将汽车工厂从基本经济服务行业中除名了。 这个突如其来的消息,意味着在Penang、Johor、Selangor、Melaka、KL、Putrajaya和Labuan等重新实施MCO地区的汽车工厂,在管制令生效时都将停工。 对Proton来说,Proton X50是在Proton Tanjung Malim工厂生产的,所以理论上,生产不会受到影响。不过,Proton的供应商大多位于Selangor和Penang,而如果供应商无法供应零部件,Proton仍旧是无法恢复生产的。 大马Honda的Honda City、Jazz\BR-V、HR-V、Civic、CR-V和Accord,都是在Melaka的工厂生产的,而他们肯定面临着停工。

MCO 2.0: Two-passenger restriction per vehicle lifted!

The National Security Council (MKN) has announced that the 2 passenger per vehicle restriction has been lifted. Starting from 19 February 2021, passenger capacity will be limited according to the vehicle capacity. This will apply nationwide including Selangor, KL, Johor, and Penang that are currently still observing the Movement Control Order (MCO). Other than that, MKN has announced that the restriction of 2 person per table while dining-in has also been lifted.
