UMW Toyota Motor (UMWT) has quietly updated the 2023 Toyota Yaris (NSP151) on its website for the second time this year. Like the first update which was introduced in May, the evergreen hatchback receives mainly small quality-of-life changes rather than a massive facelift that was introduced in Thailand. While the first updates on the locally assembled (CKD) Yaris this year saw no changes in price, the latest update sees a price bump across the two variants currently offered: Yaris 1.5 E – RM 88

While the Toyota Vios has undergone an all-new generation in the form of the DNGA-based AC100 Vios, its hatchback twin, the Toyota Yaris seems to be soldiering on in its current generation with a fourth facelift. The phrase “never judge a book by its cover” doesn’t seem to apply to the Toyota Yaris which has been given a conflicted-looking makeover recently in Thailand. Beauty can be subjective but it doesn’t really strike much to the 2023 Toyota Yaris facelift as it became the Kingdom’s best-selling B-segment hatchback in April. According to sales data published by Autolife Thailand, 2,288 units of the refreshed Toyota Yaris have been sold that month which translates to nearly half of the total hatchbac

Thailand’s premier race series, the Thailand Super Series (TSS) kicked off the 2023 season at the Chang International Circuit a couple of weeks ago. Toyota Gazoo Racing (TGR) Team Thailand is competing in 5 classes with the most interesting entry being the Super Compact category.
