Basically a rebadged Daihatsu Sirion, the Perodua Myvi first model was manufactured in 2005. Five different models of the Perodua Myvi are available: 1.0SR, 1.3SX, 1.3EZ, 1.3SXi, and 1.3EZi. Depending on the model, the Perodua Myvi has an automatic or manual transmission. Following that, a Perodua Myvi Special Edition (Perodua Myvi SE) featuring altered bumpers, side skirting, and a spoiler was also made available. Third Generation Perodua Myvi (2017–Present):
Perodua Myvi third generation was introduced towards the end of 2017. The eco-idle feature was the largest improvement made to the Perodua Myvi 2017. Onepoint3 Standard G, Onepoint5 Premium X, Onepoint5 Premium High, and Onepoint5 Advance AV are the four versions of the Perodua Myvi that are available. The 1.3 variant was originally available with both an automatic and manual transmission; however, because of poor sales, the manual transmission was discontinued, leaving only the automatic transmission available for all variants. An improved version of the Perodua Myvi 1.5 AV, the Perodua Myvi Gear Up kit enables buyers to add extras to give the vehicle a more sportier appearance.
The third generation’s Perodua Myvi interior has various features - keyless entry and start, power windows with an auto driver's window, digital air conditioning controls, a tilt-adjustable steering wheel, a height-adjustable driver seat, an integrated shopping hook, and an anti-snatch hook. The higher variants also come with leather seats, an integrated toll reader, a touchscreen head unit with a reverse camera and smartphone mirroring functionality, and additional bluetooth connectivity.
