2023年3月29号，我国首相拿督斯里安华首次以官府的身份访问中国，针对马中经济贸易进行交流。Chery集团的高层也受邀参与这次会谈。

Discussions were held between representatives of Chery International and the Minister of International Trade and 这次的会谈，由马来西亚贸工部MITI部长Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul与Chery国际事务部所负责。

马来西亚政府高度认可Chery集团的能力，也对Chery来马投资的计划抱有强烈的兴趣。

退出马来西亚市场5年后，Chery计划强势回归。Chery也在马来西亚设立了专属的公司，CKD计划也在如火如荼的进行当中。


首批CKD的车子，将会是Chery Omada 5与Chery Tiggo 8 Pro，目前与Inokom进行最后的协商工作。

Omoda 5的主要竞争对手为Honda HR-V，而Tiggo 8 Pro的主要竞争对手为Proton X90.
