1. Extreme surrounding condition (extremely cold or hot) causing the sensor internal part faulty.
2. Impact by external force causing sensor internal part faulty.
Suggest owner to repair sensor malfunction at the workshop.
1. Switch on the sensor and touch the sensor eye with hand, look for which sensor eye is not responding.
2. Use a professional scan tool to diagnose for error code and read the data, us a multimeter to check if the sensor wiring is faulty.
3. If the sensor wiring is confirmed in good condition, replace the sensor.
4. Use the scan tool to diagnose again and clear the fault code after the repairing is done.
