Honda Malaysia is off to a rousing start this year, as the company has recorded sales of 21,500 units in Q1 2024, on track for their total sales goal of 95,000 units for the entirety of this year. This is a whopping 23% increase over Q1 2023, in which the company sold circa 16,500 cars. According to a senior official within the company, Q1 2024's numbers were led by the HR-V, City, and CR-V. Honda has announced updates for the Japanese-market 2024 Honda HR-V – or Vezel as it’s known there. Prices have yet to be announced, as the model will only go on sale there in mid-2024.
