The Mercedes-Maybach S-Class is the perfect combination of high-tech features, exclusivity, luxury and tradition. Having made its global debut, it is now on sale in Germany. 

The already quiet interior of the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class’ becomes even quieter, thanks to the Burmester® high-end 4D surround sound system and the active road noise compensation. In the same way, headphones use a noise suppression system to reduce unwanted low-frequency noises, using counter-phased sound waves. 

This luxury piece complemented with exclusive details such as large areas of wood trim on the rear of the front seats and between the two rear passengers. The integration into the infotainment and control system MBUX and Blind Spot Assist ensures a high level of operating convenience and additional safety. 

The wheelbase for the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class is 18 cm longer compared to the long wheelbase of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class, thanks to the Executive seats and the Chauffeur Package which comes as standard that makes the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class rear a more comfortable workspace or relaxation area to be in. 

Additionally, the closing action of the automatic comfort doors can even be started or stopped with a hand gesture.

The Mercedes-Maybach S-Class is available with a choice of two engine variants in Germany: the S 580 4MATIC powered by a 3.9-litre V8 petrol engine with an integrated second-generation starter-alternator and 48-volt onboard electrical system. 

The second option is the Mercedes-Maybach S 680 4MATIC, powered by the familiar 5.9-litre V12. For the first time, it is combined with a 4MATIC all-wheel drive.

Previously, the base price for the 2018 Mercedes-Maybach S-Class was RM 1.4 million before add-ons.

At present, this latest grand luxury saloon's price starts from € 164,565, in Germany.
