25 years of the Honda CR-V - All you need for a family car

Currently in its fifth generation, the Honda CR-V is a spacious family car that is popular among Malaysians. Offered in both 2WD and 4WD, the former is preferred by many, since it mainly sees urban use. The urban SUV body style is so popular to the extent that even brands like Porsche and Lamborghini have at least one in their line-up. Being one of the early adopters and perhaps even pioneering the urban SUV body-style, the Honda CR-V deserves some recognition. But how did it all start? Well, we

When it made its debut in 2012, the Proton Preve was the most affordable C-segment sedan on the market and the spec-sheet was rather impressive as well. So, is it worth your consideration as a used car? During its 8-year run, the Preve was updated twice. It also helped Proton reach numerous milestones such as achieving the brand's first 5-star rating at the Australasian New Car Assessment Programme (ANCAP). A new car with Android Auto from just RM50k? Here's the list of the cheapest cars with it

It is no surprise that I am a strong believer of Android Auto – it encompasses everything you could possibly ask for in an infotainment system, including voice command, navigation, and music streaming. There's no need to fawn over the Proton X70's voice command, which we have to add, doesn't come with Android Auto or Apple CarPlay. With Android Auto, you use voice control to read/reply WhatsApp messages and enter a destination to Google Maps or Waze, as well as selecting your playlist on Spotify

The 7 most reliable engines in Malaysia, which cars have them?

A modern day’s car engine is typically developed to have a service life of around 15 years/250,000 km, provided that you diligently follow the recommended maintenance habits listed in the owner’s manual. Of course, there are many cars that can do a lot more. The problem with looking for a reliable engine is that they are often the ones with the least features. There are no two ways about it – with greater complexity and finer the tolerances, there is a higher probability of things going wrong. T
