BMW M3 – Overview The new G80 BMW M3 sedan was unveiled alongside the M4 Coupe, and BMW Malaysia is offering both models in the Competition variants. The Competition variant has higher engine outputs of 510 PS and 650 Nm and paired to an eight-speed M Steptronic automatic transmission. What’s new with BMW M cars is the fitment of xDrive all-wheel drive system, which is only being manufactured later in 2021. In Malaysia, the price for the G80 BMW M3 Competition sedan starts from RM 691,040, RM 20,000 lower than the M4 Competition coupe. At its initial order taking timing, BMW Malaysia offered the Innovation package for an additional RM 58,000 (promotional price). In Malaysia, the only other super sedan that comes close to the BMW M3 is the Mercedes-AMG C63S which was last priced at RM 769,000. Audi Malaysia meanwhile has included RS models in their line-up with two non-sedan bodystyles on offer. The Audi RS4 Avant (wagon) is priced at RM 712,400, while the RS5 Sportback is priced at RM 727,000.

Maserati Quattroporte Overview Established in 1914 in Bologna, Italy, Maserati S.p.A. is one of the oldest luxury vehicle manufacturers in the world. The iconic trident emblem first made its appearance on Maserati’s racing cars back in the 1920s before their dramatic withdrawal from competitive racing in the 1957 Mille Miglia tragedy. When Ferrari took over control of Maserati in 1997, one of the main objectives was to radically improve the quality of the vehicles. While Maseratis are renowned for their exceptional driving qualities, the Quattroporte suffered from reliability issue since its inception back in 1963. The result was a revised and improved 1998 fourth generation Maserati Quattroporte Evoluzione. Quattroporte simply means ‘four doors’ in Italian. The Bentley Mulsanne Speed meanwhile focuses on dynamic performance, targeting a more engaging drive to the keen driver. Priced from RM3 million with duties included, the Bentley isn’t the sole super luxury limousine in this segment, as its perennial rival Rolls-Royce Phantom is now joined by the revitalized Mercedes-Maybach S650 limousine.
